Achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma are just a few of the common foot and ankle conditions that we treat at The Joint Injection Clinic. Issues around the foot and ankle can have a major impact on day-to-day activity and particularly on one’s ability to undertake higher level exercise. Conditions such as Achilles tendinopathy are usually managed initially conservatively with avoidance of aggravating activity and work on strengthening and rehabilitation of the tendon. We sometimes use a high volume injection deep to the Achilles tendon as a way of assisting with rehabilitation if pain predominates.
Plantar Fasciitis is another common concern affecting patients, more frequently seen in middle to older age.
